Method
(Vision) Statement:
We believe that our Mission and
Vision as a church should be intertwined with each other.
Furthermore, the application of our
Mission Statement should be a dynamic process, and not just
a static statement. Therefore,
our Vision statement is a reflection of how a person should grow
and develop as a Disciple of Christ.
Receive
Step One in the
discipleship process is learning to receive from God His love,
grace,
mercy and
forgiveness. This is initially accomplished through corporate
worship.
Relate
Step Two is to
learn how to relate to, and with, one another. This is
accomplished by
taking one's
relationship with God 'to the next level' through intentional study
and
learning within
the family of God. This is best done through regular
involvement in a
small group.
Reach Out
Step Three is
where everything from the previous two steps comes together.
It is at
this point in the
believer's walk with God where they become intentional about
taking their faith
outside of the walls of the church. The goal now becomes to be
God's instrument
in reaching out to a hurting world, by sharing the Gospel message
and helping others
on their road to Discipleship.
